Biography

A designer and artist, originally from Nashville, Stacie uses a custom hieroglyphic-type vocabulary to represent historical depictions of structured abstract illustrations based on personal life stories, music and pop culture.

Her first series, developed in 2004 draws inspiration from live musical performances of local bands – influenced by lighting, rhythm, lyrics, wardrobe and energy of the crowd.

Stacie’s second series introduces an original spin to visual abstract story-telling. Focusing on how every detail is important to the overall context and development of a story.

Stacie’s current series embodies bitter-sweetness to visually communicate circumstances that sometimes can’t be expressed verbally, to honor individuals with remarkable stories and spark inspiration.

Her lyrical and whimsical paintings represent captured moments in time and her distinct style is carried throughout the collection.
